Emma Frances Grant is a British illustrator whose imaginative and decorative designs draw inspiration from her interests in antiques, nature, and all things celestial.

A champion of traditional techniques, Emma’s work always starts life as a hand-drawn or painted illustration before being worked up digitally with sensational results & personal touches.

‘Most Promising Young Designerʼ, Emma’s work has sold in leading retailers from John Lewis and Harrods to Fortnum and Mason.

Emma’s artwork has been licensed for a wide range of products from greeting-cards to puzzles, accessories, and ceramics. With over ten years experience as a full-time in-house Senior Designer, her professional experience speaks for itself. Clients include Museums & Galleries, Gibsons Toys & Games, and Ashdene Ladelle.

Q & A

What made you want to become an artist?

“It’s a cliché to say but I’ve always loved drawing. I used to draw on the back of rolls of wallpaper we had lying around because my Mum said we kept running out of paper!”

What would your dream project be?

“Gucci, Matthew Williamson,
De Gournay, and Anthropologie.”
