BEX PARKIN

Bex Parkin is an artist and illustrator based in the UK. Passionate about art and design from an early age, she studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins after completing her degree in Art History.

Bex has worked in the London art world including the Royal Academy and the Medici Society but it was her role finding antique and vintage textiles for the major fashion houses that inspired her love of pattern and colour.

Her preferred medium is either hand-painted watercolour or traditional gouache, coloured pencil and crayon. Bex is known for her love of colourful wildlife and botanicals often with a vibrant colour palette and playful details.

Bex Parkin has worked on many exciting projects including greeting card ranges, packaging, stationery, fabrics and jigsaws.

Her client list includes Anthropologie, Scholastic, Little Brown Group, Chicken House Books, Paper Products Designs, Flame Tree Publishing, Buffalo Games, Wentworth Puzzles, and Djeco. A recent collaboration with gelato company Nubocha won a GDUSA award for packaging.

Bex has a brain that never stops coming up with new ideas. She sees inspiration everywhere.
