A year ago I met up with the team at Northcott Fabrics during a work trip to NYC. Whilst Northcott are based in Ontario, Canada, I am based in Brighton. So why NYC? We met whilst I was exhibiting at Blueprint last year and have been developing a new collection ever since. The new BEE KIND collection by Jade Mosinski is inspired by Jade’s best-selling Botanical Bee design.

I adore the tossed blenders in this collection; featuring daisies and bumble bees. If you haven’t come across the term tossed blenders before, these are non-directional patterns to co-ordinate with the collection’s main signature designs and panels.

‘The stunning panel print makes an ideal wall-hanging or focal point to any quilt. It can also be deconstructed to create blocks in any project from interesting tote bags to beautiful quilts. The floral damask can be used for blocks, but also makes a terrific backing. A variety of mix and match in a modern combination of hues including Wedgewood blue and green, mustard, and peach with fresh cream and dramatic black grounds’.
