Blueprint at Home

BLUEPRINT AT HOME is a first after 25 years in the industry. It’s a first to do a trade show in my living room!

I was due to be exhibiting at Blueprint Surface Pattern & Design Show in New York in May. What an amazing week it has been at home. I’ve had so many wonderful conversations and caught up with art directors, publishers, and artists. Talking and planning for the future is so important at this time. Despite the enormous challenges that everybody is facing, companies are still very focused on renewal and are looking for new work and opportunities on the other side. It’s been so positive to catch up with artists and publishers personally.

Art buyers are often buying for Christmas and Holiday seasons during the Spring and Summer months.

It was also wonderful to meet the artists who booked a special Portfolio Review with me during Blueprint Live - including Canadian artist Michelle Barkway. Michelle Barkway is from Vancouver Island. Her love of tall trees and cold seas is beautifully expressed in her gestural paintings. I was so impressed with her professionalism & pure talent.
