The Imagination of Katherine Quinn

A very real congratulations to our New Zealand artist Katherine Quinn who has won FIRST PLACE with this new artwork for the latest Spoonflower Challenge!

Katherine’s winning entry, entitled Imaginarium Garden, is inspired by her daughter who has a very green thumb. Available to license as a standalone artwork and pattern. Feast your eyes on this botanical brilliance!

Katherine has also been busy coming up with imaginative new ideas for children's products. Including a 3-D musical night-light, underwater checkers and a magnetic dress-up game - all personal projects.

All of these imaginary concepts are available to license for multiple categories including games.

Sprout Mountain is a build-your-own night light with lights and music. The wooden ‘Seed Sprouts’ are fully customisable peg-characters for children to play with. and slot onto the mountain.

This is a personal project.

Bioluminescence’ is a checkers-inspired concept set in the deep ocean with illuminating pieces and coral decorations. This game idea is a playful personal project - quintessentially Katherine.

Continuing the underwater theme, here’s a game where players ‘catch’ their dinner before preparing it with various ingredients and frying it!

Last but not least, Katherine’s underwater explorers have inter-changeable magnetic outfits including diving and mermaid suits. The possibilities are endless.

We'd love to see these games become a reality!

It's no surprise that clients appreciate and admireKatherine’s distinct style. Her work matches technical brilliance with imagination, texture & colour.

All the artworks are available to license so please get in touch if they look suitable for any of your projects.
