My fellow artist Catherine Rowe has illustrated a new range of patterns inspired by the wonder and detail of Medieval Illuminated Manuscripts.
Here you can see Catherine photographed alongside her stunning new collection Illuminations.
The decorative parts in Medieval Manuscripts are called illuminations because of the radiant glow created by the gold, silver, and other colours. The interaction between nature and precious jewels in Catherine's new collection is exquisite in both concept and execution.
It's inspiring to see Catherine experimenting with being photographed in a way which represents her own work.
