Caring Colouring 2 Round-up & donation to the Sea Change Project
We Raised £5000!
We’ve done it.
After several months of hard work by my team and help from literally hundreds of amazingly talented and generous artists from around the globe, the final amount – a staggering, humbling £5000 – has been donated to my chosen charity, the Sea Change Project.
Craig Foster’s team, responsible for the Oscar-winning documentary, My Octopus Teacher, have said in a letter: ‘your support allows us to continue to tell stories that connect people to the wild, and helps us protect the Great African Seaforest, by making it a global icon.
‘Thank you for helping us to continue our work at this very critical moment in history. We are so grateful to have you as part of our amphibious tribe.’
I wanted to share this to say an enormous ‘thank you’ to all of you who sent in your artwork as part of this initiative, and to assure you that, even if your work was not featured as part of Caring Colouring this year, I was deeply moved by each and every artwork submission we received.
So, here I am, signing off on Caring Colouring 2 – it has been the most wonderful adventure, I sincerely look forward to seeing you all again for CC3!
