Jehane gives talks and one-to-one consultancy within further education and privately - she is available to give talks on a variety of themes, listed below.

Jehane has been invited to give talks at the Victoria & Albert Museum's study days ‘Art of the Stitch’, regional branches of the Embroiderer's Guild, to degree students in Further Education, and at key events within the Licensing industry. She has also run textile & embroidery workshops at 'Creative Quarter' at the V & A's Sackler centre.

‘Ten Images which define my Career’

Drawing from experiences of working as an in-house textile designer in Vienna, a freelance designer and self-employed artist for over 20 years, as creator of “The Yellow House” brand and expertise in representing artists within art licensing; this industry talk will aim to shed light on the exciting breadth & wealth of opportunities and to inspire the next generation to pursue a career in the creative industries.

'An Introduction to Art Licensing

A behind-the-scenes look into the world of art licensing and commissioned illustration work. How do heritage archives and contemporary artists manage selling the reproduction rights of their images to publishers? How does licensing inform and develop an artist's portfolio? An insightful and informative view into contemporary design and art licensing.

‘Embroidery as Exploration’

This talk looks at how artists and writers develop their work using the model of ‘exploration’ and how this informs their creative process. Jehane also explains briefly about design licensing and opening her house as part of the Brighton Festival. An insightful and informative view into Jehane’s work.

‘An Introduction to Fabric Collage - Workshop’

The main emphasis of this workshop is to encourage students own ideas whilst also providing an understanding of the basic principles of fabric collage. Working directly with fabric and mixed media, Jehane explores the technique of appliqué and demonstrates the process of cutting shapes and sewing down the various elements until a harmonious composition has been achieved. Participants will also learn how to put a textile design into repeat.
